- In 1999, I built my first commercial website and was quickly hooked on the power of the web.
- In 2001, I became Maine's youngest licensed real estate agent. Being web-savvy really helped.
- In 2003, I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Southern Maine.
- In 2007, I left behind my career in real estate in order to focus on building great websites.
- In 2008, I relocated from Southern Maine to Southern "Live Free or Die" New Hampshire.
- In 2010, I achieved Google Adwords Certified Partner status.
what i do
I wear many hats. On a typical project, it's likely that I'll start out as a business consultant, beginning with discussions of strategic vision, goals, and high-level planning. As an entrepreneur myself, I really enjoy this part of my work, the process of hearing people's ideas and helping them figure out how to turn them into reality.
Then, it comes time to design and implement, and this is where it helps to have both a conceptual understanding of a wide array of technologies and, equally important, the technical knowledge to implement them successfully into a highly functional website.
Once a project is launched, my marketing side takes over. I know how to harness techniques such as search engine optimization and PPC marketing to build strong website traffic.
